THE YIZKOR BOOK IS OFF TO PRINT THIS WEEK!!

YIZKOR - SEPTEMBER 10 is the final day to purchase space in the Yizkor Book ($54/unlimited names). The Yizkor service will be held on Yom Kippur during the Torah/Musaf Service. We suggest arriving by 12pm to ensure you are present for the service. You may sign up for the Yizkor Book during your membership renewal. If you have already renewed, please send a note to Nancy@darcheipa.org with the names you would like to include.

CELL PHONES AND ELECTRONICS - There is no cell phone or electronics use in the sanctuary during the High Holy Days. We encourage you to leave your devices home or in your car during the holidays.

PARKING - Free parking is available in the Darchei Noam Parking Lot. We have a large lot with over 80 spaces, so there should be ample parking for everyone for most services. We ask that families and congregants carpool whenever possible. If you find that the lot is full, please use the Ambler Parking Lot Map below to help you find a place for your vehicle. You can ONLY park in the Post Office if it is closed for business. Disability spots are available along the front of the parking lot near the synagogue doors. Please leave these spaces for people in need. If these are taken, please drop individuals needing assistance by the front door and then secure parking for your vehicle. Please, do not park in the Post Office parking lot when the Post Office is open.

SECURITY / SAFETY - Security Personnel will be on premises at all times during our High Holy Day Services. Vouchers and name tags will help ensure the congregation is kept safe at all times.

In consideration for our clergy, staff and fellow congregants, if you are feeling ill, please stay home. Most services are available through a Zoom. See the service schedule for details.

CHILDREN - We love having children in our community and welcome them warmly at High Holiday services. However, please ensure they stay with you at all times, as there will be no babysitting provided and extended roaming is not permitted.

Before leaving, please return your name tag to a greeter or the name tag table. If you are having trouble accessing your tickets, please email the synagogue at info@darcheipa.org or text 267-405-1582.

This is a security precaution to help ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.

There will be a separate ticket distributed for the following:

OUT OF TOWN GUESTS - Darchei Noam is offering services (in person and virtual) for RH & YK. Registration is required to attend services.  Registration is restricted to all members that have renewed their 2025-26 Darchei Noam membership, Registration for the holidays will conclude next week. Please note that the Torah/Musaf services are already at capacity based on the number of registrations we have received. The community is invited to attend (with you or on their own) any service except for the Torah/Musaf Services on both holidays.

Kol Nidre is NOW OPEN to members' guests. We are appreciative of donations for any individual attending who is not a member of our synagogue for both Kol Nidre and the rest of the open community services.

We anticipate this will be utilized during the Torah/Musaf services. If space becomes available during a service with overflow, those in the overflow area are invited to move into the sanctuary to occupy the newly available seats.

High Holy Day Mahzor

Darchei Noam uses Machzor Lev Shalem as the prayerbook for the High Holy Days. If you have purchased one of your own, please bring it with you to all Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur services (please make sure your name is in your book). Darchei Noam does have copies, however they are limited. if you would like to purchase your own, you can buy it directly on Amazon.

If you are attending the High Holy Days virtually through Zoom, you can rent a Lev Shalem Machzor (digitally as a .pdf) for $3 through the Rabbinical Assembly Bookstore. This allows you to download a .pdf which automatically expires at the end of Sukkot/Simchat Torah. (Note: This website closes down on Chag, so please make sure you purchase this rental before Rosh Hashanah starts.)

Parking

There should be ample parking in Darchei Noam's lot. However, if there are no spaces left, Ambler has municipal parking lots that will serve as overflow parking. Please do NOT park at the Post Office.
