Chesed
Chesed Chevra
Chesed, which translates to loving kindness, is not only one of the pillars Darchei Noam stands on, it is a core Jewish value found throughout the Torah. Within our Darchei Noam community there sometimes arise a need for help and support, a time where we ask other members to act in a way that embodies Chesed. Through the dedication of wonderful members of our community, we are able to support one another in a manner that is helpful and meaningful whether cooking a meal, providing transportation, or simply making a phone call.
Our Chesed Chevra committee is here for our community whether providing a meal or ride, assisting with scheduling appointments, or just checking in. If you are in need of any support or assistance, please either email Amy OR fill out our Chesed Request Form. If you are interested in joining this committee, please fill out this form.
