Bill O’Brien’s Bio

Mr. William H. O’Brien, M.A., M.Div. has been meditating for 50 years. Raised Roman Catholic in Washington, DC, he spent 20 years in the Jesuit Order before leaving to pursue a broader paradigm based simply on Love and Spirit rather than the doctrine of any one religion. He is a graduate of Georgetown University and has been a spiritual mentor for individuals and groups for decades. He has taught meditation for the past 30 some years. He has been a guest on radio and television including Family Matters, WHYY public radio in Philadelphia, on the topic, “Psychology and Spiritual Development”; on Dennis Wholey’s America on national public television discussing spiritual development; and he was featured on News4 Washington with Jim Vance as part of the “God in Washington” series. Bill and his wife Linda, a Breathwork Practitioner, live in Ambler at The Crossings Apartments. Among other things, they are both certified shamanic practitioners.
