Friday Night Shabbat Service
All of our Friday evening services celebrate the onset of Shabbat in song. In addition our children work hard to demonstrate their prayer prowess throughout the year; support their efforts and begin your Shabbat. In the summer months we often hold outdoor services on Friday nights.
Learner's Shabbat Service
This service is designed for adults and pre-B'nai Mitzvah students who are interested in learning more about and participating more confidently in the service. We will explore an overview of the Shabbat Shacharit/morning service, learn helpful information about key prayers, and make personal connections with these texts. We will practice common melodies and our pre-B'nai Mitzvah students will have the opportunity to lead parts of the service.
Musical Shabbat
Join us for a special musical version of Shabbat! We will enjoy communal singing with new tunes, old favorites, lots and lots of music and ruach! Featuring our wonderful adult choir and special guest guitarist-Steve Bernstein.
Shabbat on the Trail
Join us for a meditative shabbat morning experience on the blue-ribbon trail. The morning will include a moderate walk and is not easily accessible. Please bring an outdoor chair with you.
Shavat Vayinafash
Nourish yourself with a soulful Shabbat experience filled with prayer, melody, and spiritually inspired Torah. Each service will highlight an organization grounded in the prophetic tradition to take the place of the haftarah reading. Offered with adults in mind but children are always welcome.
Taste of Shabbat for Holiday Weekends
Whether you plan to be home or far away, please join us in song to welcome the Shabbat Queen on these secular holiday weekends. We also often hold these services when there are Borough-wide events in Ambler.
Traditional Shabbat Service
This service is a more traditional Shabbat morning service including parts of Pseukei D'Zimra, Shacharit, Torah Service, and Musaf. In addition, we have seven aliyot/Torah readings and read haftorah.
Virtual Friday Night Shabbat
All of our Friday evening services celebrate the onset of Shabbat in song and are family friendly. In addition our children work hard to demonstrate their prayer prowess throughout the year; support their efforts and begin your Shabbat.
Virtual Shabbat Service
This service is a more traditional Shabbat morning service including parts of Pseukei D'Zimra, Shacharit, and an alternative Torah Service.
